This factory service manual set covers the 2014 Nissan Sentra B17 four-door sedan for the North American market, built with the MRA8DE 1.8-liter DOHC four-cylinder. • Exact fitment: The identification tables separate 50-state cars (S 6MT/CVT; SV, FE+SV, SR, and SL CVT), California cars (S, SV, SR, and SL CVT), and Canadian cars (S and SV 6MT/CVT). Drivetrain chapters are keyed to the RS6F94R six-speed manual transaxle and RE0F11A CVT.

• MRA8DE engine repair: Covers compression and valve-clearance checks, timing-chain and camshaft service, cylinder-head removal and disassembly, valve-oil-seal work, complete cylinder-block disassembly and inspection, piston and bearing selection, and engine removal for both transmission types. Specifications, Tools, and Repair Boundaries

Service Data and Specifications sections provide component torque data, approved fluids and capacities, wear and clearance limits, engine compression and valve data, transmission inspection limits, wheel alignment and brake dimensions, CVT shift/stall/line-pressure specifications, A/C refrigerant and oil data, and electrical test values. Named shop tools include the KV10111100 (J-37228) seal cutter, KV10112100 (BT-8653-A) angle wrench, KV311039S0 CVT charging pipe set, J-45741 ABS active wheel-sensor tester, J-46532 brake-height tool, and J-48710 A/C recovery/recycling/recharging unit.

For the RS6F94R, the concentric slave cylinder is not reusable after transaxle removal; as it returns to its original position, dust on the sliding area can damage the seal and cause a clutch-fluid leak. For the RE0F11A, the manual specifies Nissan NS-3 and warns that other fluid can damage the CVT.

CVT repair coverage stops short of a full internal belt-and-pulley overhaul: it covers diagnosis, calibration, external component service, unit removal, and torque-converter/converter-housing seal work. The included SRC section handles SRS control-system diagnosis and occupant-classification setup; the separately referenced SR removal/installation chapter for airbag modules, sensors, and the spiral cable is not included in this 55-file set.
