Manual-Specific Repair Cautions

The 440 ignition curves and Holeshot strategy are tied to the intended race-fuel mode; using the race curves for lower-octane trail operation can damage the engine. Crankcase halves are a factory-matched set, and Nikasil cylinders cannot be conventionally rebored. The 800 Mod section also calls out lubrication of the water-pump gear cavity after oil-injection changes. Missing this detail can damage the pump drive.
