Pressed-in carburetor passages and caulked throttle-shaft screws are not intended to be removed; disturbing them can damage the shaft or carburetor body. Operating a brake lever with a wheel or brake pads removed can force the caliper pistons out and release brake fluid. Fork and wheel-bearing work requires correct support and installation pressure to avoid damaging slider seats, seals, bearing races, or the inner spacer relationship.
