Coverage varies by document. Much of the earlier service material carries Saturn Outlook headings. Later exports use a shared-platform service manual headed 2009 Chevrolet Traverse and include Acadia-specific procedures alongside other vehicle variants. The 2010 publication is the owner manual; this collection is not four complete, year-specific Acadia workshop manuals.

Text search and navigation: The five early engine volumes and both trouble-code references have no embedded searchable text. Other files contain searchable text, although many diagram labels remain image-based. • Engine mechanical: Step-by-step removal, disassembly, inspection, and reassembly procedures, including cylinder heads, pistons, bearings, oil pumps, and camshaft timing chains.

• Transmission and AWD: Automatic-transmission testing, valve-body and clutch work, FWD/AWD removal procedures, and Getrag transfer-case disassembly and assembly.

The LLT material extends to cylinder-head disassembly, valve-seat inspection, crankshaft and bearing checks, and piston-to-cylinder measurements. Timing-chain sections distinguish primary and secondary drives and identify tools such as the EN-48383 camshaft retainers.

Alignment views and tool references help identify the setup required before timing work begins. The LLT chain instructions warn that an improperly released tensioner can cause serious engine damage.

Transmission Testing and Driveline Repair

The Outlook-labeled transmission reference contains control-solenoid performance tests, input/output speed-signal tests, line-pressure checks, and Service Fast Learn Adapts. These sections provide checks for investigating shift and control complaints rather than relying on a trouble-code definition alone.

Later 6T70/6T75 extracts cover internal assemblies and on-vehicle repairs, with separate FWD and AWD transmission-removal procedures. Transfer-case and rear-drive-axle material includes seals, inspection, lubricant service, and component replacement.

The ABS instructions also warn that connecting or disconnecting the electronic brake control module with the ignition on can damage the module. Brake, restraint, and fuel-system work requires the precautions and equipment specified for the individual procedure.
