Suzuki Manual Features & Content Preview

  • 1,378-page two-PDF factory set — a 1,210-page Ignis RM413 Service Manual, P/N 99500U86G00-01E, plus a 168-page Ignis RM413/RM415/RM413D Wiring Diagram Manual with embedded document ID 99512U86G30-669.
  • RM413 M13/M13A petrol repair coverage reaches from scheduled maintenance and scan-tool/DTC diagnosis to VVT timing-chain, cylinder-head, piston/rod, crankshaft, oil-pump, cooling, fuel-injection, and emission-system service.
  • 2WD and 4WD drivetrain procedures include manual-transaxle removal and internal overhaul, clutch service, transfer gear and bearing work, bevel-gear shim and backlash adjustment, rear-differential setup, propeller shafts, and front/rear drive shafts.
  • Chassis and safety-system diagnosis covers wheel alignment, rack-and-pinion and EPS, front/rear suspension and hubs, brakes and ABS, immobilizer/key registration, SRS DTCs, and post-collision component inspections.
  • The separate wiring volume expands electrical coverage to M13A and M15A petrol plus Z13DT/diesel configurations, with distinct engine-control, starting, cooling, immobilizer, A/T, EPS, air-bag, and ABS circuits.
  • Connector and power-distribution reference maps engine, injector, main, instrument-panel, door, roof, floor, fuel-pump, rear-bumper, and rear-door harnesses. Terminal numbers, ground points, fuse boxes, protected circuits, and connector face views are included.

These are factory workshop publications prepared by Magyar Suzuki Corporation, not a basic owner’s manual. Suzuki expressly states that the service manual is intended for authorized Suzuki dealers and qualified service mechanics with the proper tools and equipment; its depth assumes scan-tool access, electrical test gear, lifting equipment, and press work.

RM413 Mechanical and Diagnostic Coverage

Engine material combines symptom charts, DTC tables, fail-safe logic, ECM terminal checks, fuel-pressure and leakage tests, compression, vacuum, and oil-pressure checks, and M13 unit repair. Major factory procedures cover engine removal, timing-chain and tensioner service, camshaft/tappet/shim inspection, cylinder-head disassembly, piston-ring and connecting-rod inspection, crankshaft and main-bearing work, and oil-pump overhaul. Factory references supply tightening tables, clearances and wear limits, pressure-test data, capacities, required service materials, and electrical values. Listed tools include the 09915-64512 compression gauge, 09915-77310 oil-pressure gauge, and 09924-17810 flywheel holder.

Transmission and 4WD chapters go beyond removal work. The five-speed manual-transaxle section covers case disassembly, input and countershaft service, fifth gear, synchronizers, differential assembly, and bearing preload. Transfer and rear-differential chapters add reduction gears, intermediate/output shafts, hypoid-gear contact, shimming, backlash, and bearing setup. Steering and suspension procedures include rack unit repair, strut disassembly, control-arm bushing replacement, hub and wheel-bearing press work, and separate 2WD/4WD rear-axle procedures.

Electrical, Body, HVAC, and Restraints

Diagnostic sections support the engine/ECM, EPS, ABS, immobilizer, and air-bag systems with wiring diagrams, component-location views, DTC flow tables, scan-data definitions, and circuit checks. Other sections cover A/C performance testing, refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, and leak checks; lighting and instruments; wipers, power windows, locks, and mirrors; glass, doors, trim, body dimensions, and panel clearances; and key coding.

Wiring Diagram Volume

The wiring volume identifies five applicable VIN starts: TSMMHX51S00100001, TSMMHY51S00100001, TSMMHX81S00100001, TSMMHY81S00100001, and TSMMHX91S00100001. It shows all possible production-specification circuits, so equipment-dependent circuits may not be present on every vehicle.

Its connector-layout section spans 40 pages and the system-circuit section spans 58 pages. Named examples include A-6 Engine & A/C Control System (M13A/M15A), A-6 Engine & A/C Control System (DSL), G-1 A/T Control System, G-2 Power Steering, G-3 Air-Bag Control System, and G-4 Anti-Lock Brake System. Six-language labeling—English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian—is used throughout this volume.

Important Coverage Limits

The 1,210-page service manual covers RM413/M13 mechanical repair only. RM415/M15A and RM413D/Z13DT engine and manual-transmission repair procedures belong to supplementary manuals P/N 99501U86G10-01E and P/N 99501U86G30-01E, which are referenced but not included; those versions have wiring coverage only in this set. The included service manual also has no automatic-transmission overhaul chapter—the A/T material in the wiring volume is circuitry only. Its model-specific A/C section refers basic methods not covered there to A/C Basic Manual P/N 99520-02130, also not included.

Supporting the engine by the oil pan can bend it into the oil-pump strainer and damage the pickup. Installing the steering wheel without centering the contact coil can break the coil cable when the wheel turns. Follow the manual’s circuit-test states exactly; Suzuki restricts SRS work to authorized dealer personnel and requires the prescribed battery isolation and reserve-energy wait before service.
