FE290D and FH601D Engine Repair

The FE290D camshaft section warns that an incorrectly engaged oil-pump tang can cause serious engine damage. For the FH601D, the crankcase-cover instructions address warpage caused by uneven bolt tightening.

The TH FH601D oil-pump inspection gives an inner-to-outer rotor clearance service limit of 0.3 mm (0.012 in.), measured where the rotor high points meet.
