Model fit depends on horsepower, year, and engine configuration—not just the brand. The later Force volume’s Engine Finder, for example, covers five-cylinder 150 HP models for 1990–1994 and four-cylinder 125 HP models for 1984–1989. The Clymer powerhead chapter excludes the air-cooled 3.5 HP (1966–1969) and 3.6 HP engines.

Cooling coverage extends to water-pump and thermostat service and temperature-warning system checks. Electric-starting sections include starter-motor overhaul and the Autolectric starter-generator; hand-start coverage includes overhead and Bendix-type rewind units. The OEM Chrysler manual adds period-specific stern/swivel-bracket, kingpin, and reverse-lock work.

Clymer’s repair notes warn that excessive force on a flywheel knock-off nut can damage the crankshaft or bearings. The trim section also explains how reservoir overfilling can force oil into the pump motor and cause premature failure.
