V65 Lario valve-spring seats: Engines 000524–000685 use 1.7 mm lower seats, part 27 03 70 82, instead of the standard 1 mm seats, part 27 03 70 81. The manual specifies retaining the thickness originally fitted to the head. This distinction helps identify the correct replacement before cylinder-head repair.

The valve-clearance section explains that insufficient clearance can prevent valves from seating, causing overheating and burned valves.

Carburetor and Ignition Settings
