Repair Cautions and Scope Limits
The K-Series cylinder-head procedure warns that crankshaft rotation before liner clamps are fitted can disturb the liner assembly, while careless head removal can damage the heated oxygen sensor. The rear-differential pinion-seal procedure requires a new collapsible spacer and controlled preload; excessive tightening can over-compress the spacer and invalidate the bearing setting. SRS, fuel, brake, and refrigerant work carries dedicated safety precautions and requires the specified diagnostic or service equipment.
