2001–2003 Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 80–105 MK3 Tractor Workshop Manual (P/N 307.1100.3.6)

This workshop manual covers 2001–2003 Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 80, 85, 90, 100 and 105 MK3 tractors equipped with the Power Shuttle transmission and electrohydraulic systems.

• Power Shuttle and PTO: Mechanical and hydraulic system descriptions, clutch control, transmission diagnostics, end-of-line programming, and front PTO removal and refitting.

Written for repair technicians, the manual assumes access to the workshop equipment and diagnostic interfaces specified for the procedures.

Power Shuttle Operation and Repair Scope

The technical information covers the mechanical gearbox, rear axle and PTO, including epicyclic reduction units and multi-plate wet clutch assemblies. Clutch engagement schematics explain how hydraulic and electronic controls interact.

Component removal procedures include engine/transmission separation without removing the cab. Internal engine and transmission repair requires the separately referenced DEUTZ 1012–1013 and ZF 7100L/7100S component manuals.

A standard fastener tightening-torque table, procedure-specific torque values and special-tool references support the covered work.

SERDIA, EDS and Electrical Fault Tracing

Diagnostic procedures: SERDIA covers engine-controller fault memory, measured values and accelerator potentiometer calibration. The EDS Power Shuttle material includes end-of-line programming and clutch calibration; InfoCenter settings and All Round Tester lift and ASM tests are covered separately.

The EDS guide identifies Power Shuttle and InfoCenter as the modules used for these MK3 models. Its other diagnostic modules have different model applicability.

Electrical fault tracing: Starting-circuit diagrams, connector layouts, ECU pinout charts and component-location views link to test data. For a no-start fault, the indexes lead from the affected circuit to connector locations and component checks before unnecessary parts replacement.

The T-7100 L connector warnings explain how interchanging the four-wheel-drive solenoid and temperature-sensor plugs can damage the temperature sensor.

Power Steering, Suspension and Trailer Brakes

Power steering rebuild instructions include bearing assembly diagrams and a dedicated seal-installation tool. Hydraulic diagrams identify solenoid valves, gear pumps and auxiliary service control blocks, while the front suspension section explains electrohydraulic leveling logic.

Front suspension service covers cylinders and position-sensor adjustment. Incorrect sensor positioning can cause impact damage at the end of travel.

Auxiliary valve-stack disassembly is limited to parts replacement. Valve overhaul is assigned to the manufacturer or an authorized service center.

Hydraulic and pneumatic trailer-brake circuit drawings distinguish the applicable Italy and Export arrangements. These distinctions help technicians match the installed equipment to the correct circuit and pressure specifications.

Cab, Cooling and Air Conditioning

Removal and refitting coverage extends to the cab, heater core (matrix), condenser and evaporator. Cooling-system instructions distinguish four- and six-cylinder layouts, including the intercooler arrangement used on four-cylinder models.

Air conditioning discharge, flushing and recharging require a dedicated servicing machine. Electromagnetic compressor clutch-pulley work is assigned to a specialist service center.

The workshop safety section addresses lifting, supporting components and precautions associated with the covered service operations.

These examples represent a small selection of the component specifications included in the manual.

The pneumatic trailer-brake compressor has a bore of 75 mm and a stroke of 36 mm, listed in its technical data.

For the Italy-version hydraulic trailer-brake valve, maximum pressure at port B is specified as 135 bar with a +0/−5 bar tolerance.
