Engine Repair and Maintenance

Component tests cover the MAP, coolant-temperature, crankshaft-position, speed, and tilt sensors, plus the ignition coils, starter circuit, regulator/rectifier, and front drive actuator.

The ECU section specifies matching part numbers when substituting a control unit. Ignition timing can be checked, but it is not adjustable.

Fuel, Lubrication, and Cooling Service

Electric fuel-pump testing combines delivery-pressure and power-supply checks to help distinguish a pump fault from an electrical supply problem. Throttle-body removal and installation, fuel-level sensor testing, oil-cooler service, and cooling-system filling and bleeding are also covered.

Oil-pressure testing specifies the Oil Pressure Test Kit (P/N 0644-495). Water-pump coverage is removal and assembly replacement; the pump is not internally serviceable.

Steering, Brakes, and Chassis Repair

Rack and pinion coverage includes tie-rod and boot replacement; the rack assembly itself is not rebuildable. Suspension and steering troubleshooting charts address stiffness, noise, pulling, and uneven tire wear.

Brake procedures cover hydraulic and parking-brake checks, pad burnishing, and caliper and master-cylinder replacement. The caliper and master cylinder are treated as replacement assemblies. Frame and body sections cover the floor, belly panel, exhaust, cargo box, and seats.
