Switching to On-Demand AWD while the rear wheels are spinning can severely damage the drive shaft and front gearcase. The manual explains engagement conditions alongside the operating controls.

The engine-oil reference specifies 2 quarts (1.9 liters) of 0W-40 synthetic oil. Transmission oil-change instructions specify 15 ounces (450 ml), with the level maintained at the bottom of the fill-plug hole.

For RC7YC spark plugs, the specified electrode gap is 0.035 inches (0.90 mm).

The engine oil drain-plug torque is 20 ft-lb (27 Nm). Separate wheel-installation specifications list 27 ft-lb (37 Nm) for both front and rear wheel nuts.
