Model Coverage and Included Publications
The engine sections distinguish 130 and 155 HP naturally aspirated engines from 215 and 255 HP supercharged/intercooled engines. The 215 uses an intercooler inside the intake manifold; the 255 has a separate external intercooler with its own service section.

The base block includes the four-page storage bulletin 2006-15. The supplement block includes storage bulletins 2007-13 and 2008-10, totaling six pages. Counts include covers, blank or repeated pages, and inserted material. The Technical Update Book portion extends through printed page 157.
The supplement is used with the base manual for systems it does not revise. The 2010-specific content is the wiring sheet, rather than a complete 2010 workshop manual. The technical update material discusses iTC, iBR, and iS technology, but the set does not provide full iS workshop coverage.
Engine, Cooling, and Model-Year Changes
Beyond internal engine work, the manual covers the PTO housing and magneto, oil pressure and suction pumps, pressure regulator, oil cooler, and TOPS components. Cooling procedures address the closed-loop engine circuit and ride-plate heat exchanger separately from the open-loop exhaust circuit.
The 2009 material documents the revised aluminum jet pump, impeller/shaft compatibility, rubber-coated drive shaft, and threaded sealing-ring arrangement. Its diagnostic notes address water entry and oil leakage at the PTO seal. The Technical Update Book also clarifies conflicting earlier storage instructions for internal and external intercoolers.
Two repair cautions illustrate the detail provided: mixing the 255 HO piston oil-spray nozzles with other versions can cause severe engine damage, while incorrectly supported supercharger bearing installation can shorten bearing life.
