Transmission Layouts and Starting-System Checks

Service scope: This operator's manual does not provide internal engine or transmission overhaul procedures. Valve-clearance adjustment, injection-nozzle pressure testing, and injection-pump checks are assigned to a Kubota dealer.

Examples of Pedal and Fan Belt Adjustment Data

Clutch pedal free travel is specified as 20–30 mm (0.8–1.2 in.), while brake pedal free travel is 30–40 mm, measured at the top of the pedal stroke. The brake instructions require equal free travel at both pedals.

The fan belt section gives a deflection range of 7–9 mm (0.28–0.35 in.) under moderate thumb pressure at the middle of the span between pulleys.
