Manual-specific cautions matter on this platform. Installing the engine oil filter backward can cause severe engine damage. The centrifugal-clutch lock nut uses left-hand threads, so treating it as a conventional fastener can damage the crankshaft threads. Carburetor assembly also requires the vacuum diaphragm to sit correctly in its groove without being pinched, and the pilot screw must not be forced against its seat.
Working on ATVs involves significant mechanical forces and potential safety risks.
