Perkins tool references identify the PD.41D gauge for piston height, valve depth, and cylinder-liner flange measurements. Timing-system cautions explain how rotating the crankshaft with timing gears removed can cause piston-to-valve damage.

Component Specifications and Reference Values

Reference material provides component-specific torque tables, fluid capacities, engine wear limits and clearances, electrical test specifications, and transmission pressure-check locations. Mast data includes chain-wear limits, allowable movement from internal leakage, and cylinder-stroke and tilt-angle adjustments. Metric and inch (SAE) fastener identification and torque tables are supplied separately.
