The 520-50 and 525-50 engine data identifies AA 50550, AR 50690, and RE builds; the 525-50S uses the AK 50669 turbocharged, low-emission build. Maintenance procedures distinguish A-Series and R-Series fuel, lubrication, and electrical arrangements. The hydraulic diagrams also identify the oil cooler, hydraulic cooling fan, and fan motor used only on the 525-50S. At machine serial 789471, the hydraulic-tank filler cap changes from the earlier screw type to the later bayonet type.
