A critical repair detail is the indexed brush-holder plate. Reinstalling it out of position changes electrical timing and can leave the motor with low output; the manual reserves timing correction for properly equipped motor-repair specialists.

The drive-axle section covers differential and speed-reducer teardown, wheel bearings, gear-contact inspection, shim selection, reassembly, and installation. Brake procedures include master-cylinder and service-brake repair, parking- and optional seat-brake work, adjustment, bleeding, warning-circuit checks, and troubleshooting. This is service and repair documentation, not a parts catalog or complete operating manual. Not every section applies to every F108 truck, and controller, mast, steering, voltage, and production variations must be identified before using a procedure or parameter table. The electrical manuals require battery isolation and controller-capacitor discharge; shorting controller terminals is specifically prohibited. Mast, cylinder, battery, counterweight, and raised-truck work should be performed only with the lifting, blocking, protective equipment, and training specified by Hyster.
